Definition of terms:-
1 –
SUPPORT:-
Problem resolution of any type by the reseller, not in
relation to the Notebook Manufacturers Warranty. eg.
Virus problems, Software problems even if caused by you,
(EXCEPT Operating System Upgrades not supplied by C.N.C.)
Hardware problems, in fact anything that's not
Warranty!!
2.
– WARRANTY:-
Any
problem with the Notebook that is caused by faulty
hardware within a set time period, (usually by
definition “faulty in manufacture” or similar)
as detailed in the Warranty Information from your
particular Notebook Manufacturer. Must be returned to
the Warranty providers Authorised repairer by Owner.

City
Notebook Centre (C.N.C.) Support covers any labour
needed to resolve actual operating problems with the
specified Notebook including Software, Hardware or
Peripherals later purchased from C.N.C. We will also
resolve problems between the laptop and other items
purchased elsewhere at our discretion.
This support
must be done at our workshop in our normal business
hours by our inhouse Tech.
unless the client is prepared to pay our normal
on-your-site labour charges. We will also endeavor to
resolve issues by Phone, Fax or Email if possible.
C.N.C. Support
allows a purchaser to visit our premises with the
Notebook purchased from us and request our Support
Service of any labour charges irrespective of time taken
to repair or restore the notebook to operating
condition. C.N.C. Support clients
will be attended on a first in first out basis in the
interests of fair practice to all qualifying clients.
Normal cost of
this Priority Service to any other client who has not
purchased from C.N.C. is $110 Plus Labour charge of Min
$99 so you get over $200 value every time!!.
Note that any
parts or software required to effectively restore or
repair the Notebook are not included, but will be
charged for unless covered under Warranty or provided by
customer..
C.N.C. Support
does not include Operator Training
on any
aspect of the Software Operating System, Application
software, Notebook or peripherals included or added
after purchase.
Operator Training is available
if required for an additional time charge at our
standard rates.
Manufacturer Warranty

of Vendors details here)
Return to Base
(RTB) Manufacturer Warranty.
Any Warranty
faults will require the purchaser to return the Notebook
to the Manufacturers Authorised Repairer.
The Client is
welcome to return to City Notebook Centre for us to
ascertain if the problem is in fact a Warranty issue or
a Support issue and if warranty,
the
client is responsible to forward the Notebook to the
authorised Vendor Warranty
Repair Centre.
On-Site Warranty
On-Site Warranty
conditions specify that the purchaser
contact the Manufacturer
(e.g. Compaq ) to arrange pick-up from the purchaser
direct or as per the Vendor instructions. |
