 Bring in either the laptop or the old power supply to make sure the plug and socket are compatible with each other.

Preferably both if possible as we find many with other problems including broken input sockets. (Which we can repair inhouse also)
Please note that some Manufacturers upgrade specifications to more current capacity output from the A/C adapter. This ensures it will last a bit longer in powering your laptop. Your Laptop only draws as much current as it requires to operate.

A/C Adapters, Power Cords and many other names are applied to the thing that plugs into the wall socket and into your Laptop to charge the battery and make your laptop work.
 

We have most types in stock to suit most laptops.
If we dont have exactly the one that comes with your laptop we can probably find another brand one that will do the same job.
 
If the Voltage and Plug & Socket are correct, then the current will only make a difference to the time taken to charge the battery if it is reasonably similar.
