We have been successfully repairing all
hardware and software problems on all makes
and models of Laptops for nearly 20 years in
the city of Melbourne.
Do I need to book the notebook in over the phone before
coming in?
No, just bring the laptop and other
accessories in its carry case
to protect it and keep everything together in to or workshop in the city
just off Flinders St.

Where are you?
Located for 9 years at 8 Market St, Melb.
CBD near the corner of Flinders St. - Market
St. runs from Flinders to Collins St. in
Between Queen and Williams Streets. We are
opposite the Victoria Immigration Museum.
There is a Parking Station directly behind
us, and the William St Tram goes past the
front door before going across Flinders St
and Queensbridge to Crown Casino.
Should I phone first to see if it is worth
the trip to bring it in?
No, the person answering can never be sure
of the exact problem which could be a simple
fix or a part that needs replacing even if
you explain the fault. Even if it seems
clear to you what the fault is,
we do not quote over the phone or by
Email. Please bring it in to be
diagnosed properly.
But I know the screen is broken, so it needs
replacing, so can I get a quote without
bringing it in on possible cost?
No, because many Laptop Models have
different screens from different sub
suppliers fitted over the model
manufacturing run. So we can never be sure
what make is fitted and the current cost
which changes constantly, so a guess is not
possible.
Do I need to Pay anything in advance?
Yes, $88, that covers the first hours labour on booking in the
laptop. Pay any way, except personal cheque.
How long does it take before I can get it
back?
Depends on the Service Queue before the
techs can look at it, but it usually is at
least 3 working days but may be up to 5.
There is an immediate repair option for
$99 payable in advance.
What should I bring
in?
Preferably everything in your Carry Case
which ensures everything stays together
protected, including:-
Laptop, Power Cord, Power Adapter Box, All
Software CD's if relevant to the problem.
Do I get a receipt for everything including
payment?
Yes, we fill in relevant details on our computer
to book your laptop into our Service Queue.
We print two copies of our
"Service Repair
Authority & Tax Invoice Form"
You Sign both copies and keep one as your
pickup authority and Tax Invoice which must
be brought in by whoever is to pick up the
laptop
What is the most I could need to pay for the
repair Labour?
If we find that we are able to repair the
laptop with out needing any parts, the
cost will be at most 2 Hours labour - The
First $88 you have already paid + $44 + $44 = $176
How long do most repairs take?
Usually about an hour to an hour and a half
(88+44=$132) Some repairs can take many
hours but we cap it at two hours - $176
What if the Laptop needs parts to repair it?
We phone you
with the total parts and repair cost and you
give approval to repair
or not to repair it. Sometimes we may have
refurbished parts available which will
reduce the cost to you as well.
Can I find the parts needed on ebay myself and
supply to you?
Yes, if you want
to, we will
tell you the exact parts needed, and you can source the
parts required by your own means in a
reasonable time frame (60 Days) and supply
to us for fitment at no extra charge.
What happens if I don't want to get the
parts and I don't want to fix it?
If you say don't repair it because it is
uneconomical or
any other reason, you bring your "Service Repair Authority
& Tax Invoice Form" in to pick it up
with no more to pay.
What if I need it fixed immediately?
We can put it to the top of the queue for
$99 extra which means we start work on it
after you book it in.
As you have already paid the Minimum $88 for
the first hour labour plus the PRIORITY FEE on booking in the
laptop, the balance of Labour and Parts
if any will need to be paid on pick up.
The
first hour labour charge and any PRIORITY
FEE are NOT refundable under any
circumstances!
