Hi-Grade Notebook Accidental Damage Cover
The cover provides for any electrical, electronic or mechanical
breakdown, fault or failure of the equipment, including any accidental damage
(such as spilt drinks and dropped equipment) and courier charges from anywhere
in the world for customers residents in the country of purchase of the system.
Cover excludes damage through fire, perils and theft and any
software, re-installation or configuration.
There is no policy excess to pay.
Limits
§
Cover applies on a worldwide basis.
§
Repairs are carried out on a return to workshop basis,
including courier charges and all parts and labour
§
In the even of the equipment being beyond economic repair,
cover will still apply and will either be the estimated cost of repair or the
current market value, whichever is lower.

Computer P/L are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for a
period of one year (one year for all
pre-built Systems & Notebooks unless specified, and 3 Years on-site for
TARGA Monitors) from date of purchase. Warranties for other (non-QDI)
products are governed by the terms of the warranties by the specific
manufacturer or supplier of that particular product.

Restrictions and
Procedures for Returning Merchandise
All claims of shortage,
damage, or shipment errors must be within 3 days from date of receipt. No refunds
will be made on returned items which have been damaged by improper usage or
handling, or on software packages which have been opened, or for sales
specified as final and unreturnable, or for costs of shipping, handling and
carriage charges. No returns will be
accepted without an RMA number. The buyer is responsible for shipping and
insurance charges, and for any loss in shipping of merchandise being returned
to the address specified when the RMA number is issued. Credit card purchases
which are returned for refund will be credited for the list price of the
merchandise on the day received by QDI Computer Pty. Ltd., less any discounts
given in the original purchase, less 15% restocking fee.
Shipping and
Handling Charges
Please allow up to 48 hours
for delivery (subject time of order placement and courier booking cut off
time). Customers are strongly encouraged to arrange for their own courier
pickups (after confirmation of dispatch with QDI's Sales Rep or Accounts
epartment).
All Orders dispatched by
QDI's arrangement will be subject to the normal freight rate applicable to the
shipment. Please confirm with your Sales Representative regarding freight
charges.
